When we researched this "old" craft, which is "new again," we were astonished to find that many designs did not have any instructions for "HOW" to do punchneedle...a real problem for beginning Punchneedlers! In response to this dilemma each of our Punchneedle kits will come with a thorough set of "General Instructions" which not only gives a bit of the history of Punchneedle, but also shows how to properly thread a punchneedle and even gives problem-solving tips for difficulties which might be encountered. Each kit also has a "Specific Instruction Sheet" giving thorough step by step instructions for completing the design. The approximate amount of fiber needed for each color used is always listed so you can always purchase an adequate supply to complete the project...a real problem when working with fibers from differing dye lots! Designs are pre-printed on Natural colored Weavers Cloth and several have embellishment packets which can be used to make your Punchneedle project "extra spiffy!" |
