As we prepare for the first "show" of 2010 I know that many of you are
huddled indoors escaping the cold and the record breaking snow that is
hitting many areas of the East and Midwest with a vengeance! My advice? -
If you got your "snuggie" for the holidays just cuddle-up, stay inside,
stitch and stay warm!
We're currently preparing for the February TNNA Show in Nashville, TN. This
show attracts buyers from all across the globe & grows larger each year with
more and more international buyers attending. This year it is to be held in
a brand new hotel and buyers and vendors alike are buzzing with excitement
over the new location! How exciting to share the love of needlework on a
world-wide basis! We ALWAYS look forward to seeing everyone there.
While you're all snuggled-up and cozy-warm we've been busy updating our
website and we have just posted 8 great new designs for 2010. They're all
available for you to see right here in a quick little slide show - something
to tempt you to look further!

We start our new additions for 2010 by bringing you a another new Biscornu
for our series of BISCORNU KITS. Each kit in the Biscornu series
coordinates with one of The Sweetheart Tree's best selling decorative
scissor fobs & all of these Biscornu kits are "all-inclusive kits" so
everything (except your stuffing material) will be included in the kit for
you. The new Biscornu for 2010 is worked in delicate pink tones on a
beautiful soft-teal linen and is called COLONIAL ROSES BISCORNU and it's
perky little "mate" is called COLONIAL ROSES FOB (the fob is one of our new
Teenie Tweenies - read more on those below). They're both SO pretty!
Our very popular French Inspired Alphabet Teenie Kit Series also continues
with "S" Is For Stitching & Sewing (perfect for avid needlewomen and has an
old fashioned sewing machine right in the center of the design). This
series has been our most popular EVER and we're getting close to the end.
You can see all of their wonderful predecessors in the Teenie Kit section of
our website & we'll continue to work hard to complete the alphabet as
quickly as we can!
There are also 2 new Teenie Kits for your itchy-stitchy fingers! - "THE
EARTH LAUGHS IN FLOWERS" is perfect for Spring redecorating and is worked in
soft Purple and Yellow tones. It just looks "Springy" & I love it (& hope
you do too)! There's also a new little welcome piece called "BLACKBERRY
WELCOME" which is worked on Graziano's beautiful Cream & Natural Gingham
linen fabric.....The Blackberry motif used on this design is very three
dimensional and has been a "hit" with stitchers world-wide - so, if you've
stitched "Blackberry Jam," "Blackberry Fob," "Blackberry Biscornu" or
"Blackberry Heart," this will be a perfect addition to your collection.

We have a spectacular and sparkly new Special Edition kit as well.......it's
called "ENCHANTED ROSES." It's chock full of fun fancy stitches and
sparkles with a Garnet Cabochon Crystal Heart, Crystal-AB Paillettes and
Petite beads. This also is an "all-inclusive kit" so everything you need
will be included in the kit for you.
In our Teenie Tweenie card series we have 3 fun additions - First is "SPIDER
WEB ROSE ALPHABET" & it is so versatile! Stitch it exactly as shown on the
graph or get creative and use the alphabet to stitch your favorite verse or
any other message in the opening. Next is "PINK FLOWERS ON GINGHAM" worked
on Graziano's fabulous Rose & White Gingham linen and finally "COLONIAL ROSE
FOB" (mentioned previously as the match for COLONIAL ROSES BISCORNU). The
fob is 2-sided and cute as a button! Every one of our Teenie Tweenie designs
has a custom matched embellishment to finish off the pattern in style - they
won't disappoint and they're awfully cute!
